Given ,

A 352 cm long wire, by banding made a circle.

To find ,

The radius of the circle .

Solution,

We can solve this using the formula of the circumference of any circle.

The formula of  circumference of any circle is as follows ,

If the radius of any circle is r unit then the circumference will be 2\pi r unit.

In this case, the length of the wire is equal to the circumference of the circle. As the circle is formed by banding the wire .

So 2\pi r = 352.

⇒2×\frac{22}{7}×r=352.

⇒44r=352×7.

⇒44r=2464.

⇒r=\frac{2464}{44}.

⇒r=56.

Thus the radius of the circle, r is 56 cm.

Hence, the radius of the circle is formed by banding the wire is 56 cm.
