Range

Range of the data set is defined as the difference in the measure of the largest and the smallest data among the set.

For finding the range of the dataset, we simply needs to order the data in any particular manner (either ascending or descending). Then find the difference of the 1st and the last  data , resultant is the range,

Formula:

Range= Maximum- minimum

Arranging the data in ascending order,

13, 24, 25, 36, 45, 55, 67, 78, 81

So Range = 81-13=68

Hence the range is 68.
