Given :


f ( x ) = 5 - ( x + 3 )²

= > f ( x ) = 5 - ( x + 3 )²


Whatever be the value of x it will always give a rational number .


Range of x includes all rational numbers because no matter what you put as x the function would always be real.


Range = { - ∞ , + ∞ }


The range of function will also include the negative numbers and hence the range extends to infinity but not equal to infinity.
