In Rhombus apposite angles are equal.

∠DAB=∠DCB=60°

∠ADC=120°

∠ADB= 2

120°=60°

In △ADB=∠ADB=∠ABD=∠BAD=60°

AD=AB=BD=a

since it is equilateral △

DM =21

BD=2a

In △DMC by applying pythagorous.

DM 2+CM 2= CD 2

CM 2= a2 - 4a2 = 43a2

CM = 23a

AC=2CM

AC=2× 23a =3a

AC:BD= 3

a:a 3:1⇒ Ratio of the diagonals
