Answer:

Given

Let Coordinate of P(4,m) , A(2,3) and B(6,3)

x¹ = 2

x² = 6

x = 4

m¹ = lambda

m² = 1

Applying internal divison formula

Internal divison formula =

x =  \frac{x2m1 + x1m2}{m1 + m2}

4 = 6lambda+2(1)/ lambda + 1

4 = 6 lambda + 2/ lambda + 1

4 lambda + 4 = 6 lambda + 2

4 -2 = 6 lambda - 4 lambda

2 = 2 lambda

2/2. = lambda/1

1/1 = lambda / 1

1: 1 is the answer
