Find the ratio in which the line segment joining the points A(3, -6) and B(5, 3) is divided by x – axis. Pls give me whole solutions

now consider ratio formula for y coordinate

y = m1y2 + m2y1/m1 + m2

0 = m1y2 + m2y1

-6m1 +3m2 = 0

-2m1 + m2 = 0

m2 = 2m1

from this

m1/m2 = 1/2

therefore it divides it in the ratio of 1:2
