ACCORDING TO FORMULA

X=mx2+nx1/m+n , Y= my2+ny1/m+n

-3= K(-2)+1(-5)/K+1........(1)

p=K(3)+1(-4)/K+1.......(2)


-3= -2K-5/K+1
-3×(K+1) = -2K-5
-3K-3= -2K-5
-3+5 = -2K+3K
2=k......(3)

the value of k is 2

now putting the value of K in equation in (2)
p=K(3)+1(-4)/K+1
p= 2(3)+1(-4)/2+1
p=6-4/3
p=2/3
