Step-by-step explanation:

p= (mx2-mx1/ m+ n, my2-my1/m+n).......formula

p=6-(-4)/m+n, -1(-4)/m+n

(a,1)= 10/m+n, -5/m+n.................eq1

a=10/m+n 1=-5/m+n

m+n=-5

a=10/-5

a=-2

hence a=-2 and ratio p(-2,1)
