let the ratio be k :1 then multiply 4*k/k+1=2 the value of k will be1 and by the help of k solve this 12*1/k+1=x x will be 6 I think this is correct

Therefore,
⇒ -3K + 5 / K + 1 = 2

⇒ 5K = 3
⇒ K = 3/5.
So, the required ratio is 3:5.
