hello.. ☺
on y axis the value =
x=0 so let the pt  p (0,y) divides it into k:1

so , 0=5✖l➕1✖➖1➗k➕1

0=5k➖1

k=1➗5

so k:1
=1:5
thank you ☺

At y axis,
x =0 and y= y.

Let y-Axis divide the line segment in the ratio K : 1.

Using section formula for x coordinates.
0 =  \frac{5 \times k + 1 \times  - 1}{k + 1}  \\ 0 = 5k - 1 \\ 5k = 1 \\ k =  \frac{1}{5}
So, y axis divides the line segment in the ratio 1:5.

Using section formula for y coordinates

y =   \frac{ - 6  - 4 \times 5}{1 + 6}  \\ y =  \frac{ - 6 - 20}{7}  \\ y =  \frac{ - 26}{7}
