Find the ratio in which Y-axis divides the point A(3,5) and point B(-6,7). Find the co ordinates of that point.​

Here,

given that,

y-axis divides the line segment AB

we know that,

points in y-axis is in the form (0,y).

therefore,let point P(0,y) divides the line segment joining the points A(3,5) and B(-6,7)in the ratio m:n

now,

0=m×(-6)+n×3

and rest are in the figure..
