Find the ratio of (4x - 5y) and (5x + 2y), if (2x - y): (2x + 4y) = 1:4?

Answer:

2x-y:2x+4y=1:4

2x-y/2x+4y=1/4

8x-4y=2x+4y

6x=8y

x=4y/3

4x-5y/5x+2y

=(16y/3-5y)/(20y/3+2y)

=(16y-15y)/20y+6y

=1/26=1:26
