EVALUATION

For rectangle :

Length = 12 cm

Breadth = 10 cm

Area of the rectangle

= 12 × 10 cm²

= 120 cm²

For square :

Length of the side = 11 cm

Area of the square

= 12² cm²

= 144 cm²

Hence the required ratio

= 120 : 144

= 5 : 6
