So, Let the radii be 4x , 5x .
Circumference of first circle = 2πr = 2π(4x)= 8xπ
Circumference of second circle = 2πr = 2π(5x) = 10xπ
Ratio of circumferences of circles = 8xπ : 10xπ= 4 : 5 .
One thing you can remember is , If the ratio of radii of circle is a : b, Ratio of circumferences = a : b, Ratio of areas = a² : b²
