Answer:

Hi ,

We know that,

Distance = Speed × Time

1) speed of the car = s1 = 30 km / hr

Time = t1 = 1.5 hrs

Distance = d1 = s1 × t1

d1 = 30 × 1.5 = 45 km ------------- ( 1 )

2) speed of the cyclist = s2 = 25 km / hr

Time = t2 = 1 hr

Distance = d2 = 25 × 1 = 25 km --------- ( 2 )

Required ratio = ( 2) / ( 1 )

= 45 km / 25 km

= ( 5 × 9 ) / ( 5 × 5 )

= 9 / 5

Ratio = 9 : 5

I hope this will useful to you.
