S= u+ 0.5 a(2n-1)

This is the formula for distance travelled by a body at nth second.

a=g (for falling bodies)

S1 = 0.5g*1

S2 = 0.5g*3

S3= 0.5 g*5

Ratio is = 1:3:5

Hope this helps

Answer:

Its states that ' A body will cover distances in the ratio of 1:3:5… for equal intervals of time since the start of the free fall.' So we can say that the body will travel distances in the ratio of 1:3:5 in the 1st,2nd and 3rd seconds.
