Find the ratio of the following in the simplest form.
(a) 15 minutes to 1 hour
(b) 1 litre to 750 mL
(d) 1 hour to 40 seconds
(e) 8 hours to 1 day

a) 15/60. = 1:4

b) 1000/750= 4:3

d) 3600÷40 =90:1

e) 8÷24 = 1:3

c) 150÷750. = 1:5

f) 120÷300. = 6:15

a) 1 hour= 60 minutes

15 min/60min = 1:4

b) 1 litre = 1000ml

1000ml /750ml = 4:3

d) 1hour = 60×60 seconds

3600sec /40 sec =90:1

e) 1 day= 24 hours

8 h/ 24 h = 1:3

c) 1 cm = 10 mm

75 cm = 750mm

150mm /750mm = 1:5

f) 120/300= 6:15
