lateral surface area of cube = 4a^2
total surface area of cube    = 6a^2
                             LSA/TSA = 4a^2/6a^2
                             LSA/TSA = 2/3
         LSA : TSA = 2:3

as the lateral surface area of cube =4a^2

and

total surface area of cube =6a^2

then ratio =(2*2*a*a)/(2*3*a*a)

then ratio=2/3

i hope this much will help you
