lateral surface area of cube = 4a^2

total surface area of cube = 6a^2

ratio =4a^2/6a^2  = 4/6 = 2/3

ratio = 2:3

Answer 2

Let the edge of a cube = x

=> Lateral surface area = 4x^2

Surface area = 6x^2

Ratio = 4x^2 : 6x^2

= 2:3
