let a is the side of a cube.
total surface area of cube = 6a^2

lateral surface area of cube = 4a^2

now ,

find ratio of total surface area to the lateral surface area of a cube :

Ratio = 6a^2/ 4a^2

=> 6/4

=> 3/2

=> 3:2

answer =4:6=2:3 because the formula of TSA is 6a square and LSA is 4a square
