Total surface area of cube of side a = 6a^2

Lateral surface area of cube of side a = 4a^2

ratio of the total surfaces area and lateral surface area = (6a^2)/(4a^2) = 6/4 = 3/2 = 3:2

ratio of the total surfaces area and lateral surface area of cube is 3:2.
