Find the ratio of the volumes of a cylinder and cone having equal radius and equal heights

Hey mate here is your answer-----

As the radius and height of cylinder and cone are equal

let the radius be r cm

let the height be h cm

Volume of cylinder =πr²h

Volume of cone =1/3πr²h

Ratio of -

Vol of cylinder/vol of cone= πr²h/1/3πr²h

Vol of cylinder/vol of cone= 3:1. Ans

So,

Vol of cylinder/vol of cone is 3:1

3:1. Ans..

Volume of cylinder : Volume of cone

\pi \: r ^{2} h \ \:  \div   1 \div 3\pi \: r ^{2} h \\  = 1 \div 1 \div 3 \\ 3 \: ans.
