T. S. A of Sphere = 4* pi* r^2 .. 1.

T.S.A of hemisphere = 3 * pi * r^2 .. 2.

Divide 1. By 2.

= T. S. A of Sphere / T.S.A of hemisphere

= 4* pi* r^2/ 3 * pi * r^2

= 4/3.

Hope it's helpful to u.
