Let the radius of the sphere and the hemisphere be r.
Thus
Total surface area of sphere = 4pir^2
Total surface area of the hemisphere = 3pi r^2.
Thus
T of sphere / T of hemisphere
= 4 pi r^2 / 3 pi r^2.
= 4/3.
