finding rational number between 1/3 and 1/4

step 1 :- take LCM { 3 , 4 } = 12

step2 :- we can put integral value of 12 in denominator .

now write 1/3 and 1/4 in such a way that it contains ' 24 ' in denominator

e.g

1/3 = 1 × 8/3 × 8 = 8/24

1/4 = 1 × 6/4 × 6 = 6/24

hence, between 6/24 and 8/24 , 7/24 is include .

so, a rational number between 6/24 and 8/24 is 7/24

hence, 7/24 is a rational number between 1/3 and 1/4
