The rational number that is formed in between $\frac{7}{4}$ to $\frac{35}{8}$,

We take them in terms of a and b we get $a+q \times(b-a)$ ____ (1)

$a=\frac{7}{4}$ and  $b=\frac{35}{8}$

Substituting a and b values in equation (1)
