➤ Answer :-

{\tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{( - 2)}{3} - \sf(x) \tt = \dfrac{( - 5)}{6}}

To find the value of 'x' in the following sum, we should subtract the first value and the answer

{\sf \longrightarrow (x) = \tt \dfrac{( - 2)}{3} - \dfrac{( - 5)}{6}}

Convert them into like fractions by taking the LCM of the denominators i.e, 3 and 6

LCM of 3 and 6 is 6.

{\tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{( - 2) \times 2}{3 \times 2} - \dfrac{( - 5)}{6}}

{\tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{( - 4)}{6} - \dfrac{( - 5)}{6} = \dfrac{( - 4) - ( - 5)}{6}}

{\tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{( - 4) + 5}{6} = \boxed{\tt \dfrac{1}{6}}}

\Huge\therefore The other number is {\tt\dfrac{1}{6}}.
