2 {x}^{3} + 3 {x}^{2}   - 11x - 6 = 0
Substitute x=2=>
2.{2}^{3}   +  3. {2}^{2}  - 11(2) - 6 =0
=> 16+12-22-6=0.
When we divide the polynomial by (x-2)
=> we get
2 {x}^{2}  - 7x + 3 = 0
=>
2 {x}^{2}  - 6x - x + 3 = 0
=>
2x(x - 3) - 1(x - 3) = 0
=>
other roots are 1/2 and 3. The roots of the polynomial are 2,1/2 and 3 .Hope it helps you...
