Hii There!!
Here in the given circuit 4 ohm resistor is connected in series and 2ohm-2ohm resistors are connected in parallel combination.
Now, Since parallel combination of resistances is given by:- 1/R=1/R1+1/R2
=) 1/R = 1/2 + 1/2
=) 1/R. =. 2/2
=) R = 1 ohm
Now , 4ohm and 1 ohm resistors are in series combination .
So,. R= R1+R2
=) R= 4+1
=) R= 5ohms (Equivalent/net resistance of the circuit)
◆By Ohm's Law:-
=) V=I×R
Or I=V/R
=) I = 10/5
=) I =2 Ampere.
Since, Ammeter is connected in series,
Reading of ammeter=Value of curremt flowing in the circuit.
Therefore, Reading of Ammeter= 2 Ampere.
