(a) cell is called Structural unit of life because cells join to form of tissue. Tissues join to form of organ. Organs join to form of organ system. Organ system join to form of organisms.

And cell itself is made up cell organelles a single cell is able to live its self because we know after fertilizer a single cell zygote is formed which whole individual is formed

(b) plastids are able to make their own proteins because they contain small,circular DNA,ribosomes and the enzymes required for the synthesis of proteins. Plastids are known as semi-autonomous organelle as they have their own ribosome and DNA. Therefore they are able to make their own proteins.

(c) If a plant cell is placed in a hypertonic solution, the plant cell loses water and hence turgor pressure by plasmolysis: pressure decreases to the point where the protoplasm of the cell peels away from the cell wall, leaving gaps between the cell wall and the membrane and making the plant cell shrink.

(d) Mitochondria are often called the “powerhouses” or “energy factories” of a cell because they are responsible for making adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the cell's main energy-carrying molecule.

(e) If the Golgi apparatus is removed from the cell, all sorts of vesicle formation will stop. The Golgi apparatus is mainly responsible for transporting, modifying, and packaging of proteins and lipids into vesicles to be delivered to targeted destinations.
