Find the reduced form of the ratio of the first quantity to second quantity.
(i) 5 litre, 2500 ml

5 litre = 5000 mL            (1 L = 1000 mL)

∴ 5 litre : 2500 mL

= 5000 mL : 2500 mL 

=50002500

= 5000÷25002500÷2500

= 21=2:1   ....(HCF of 5000 and 2500 = 2500)
