First let us understand the definition of simple pendulum, a simple pendulum is a device where a solid bob or solid mass is attached to a string which is inextensible and that is suspended from a fixed support the motion shown by the bob is called as to and fro motion.

Then let us understand the definition of the time period of the pendulum it is the time take by the bob to complete one complete motion around the fixed support.

The relation for the time period of a simple pendulum executing SHM is =2π/ω which also equal to (2π×√L/G).
