Question :- find the remainder and quotient when x^3 +3x^2+3x+1 dividend by x+1 ?

Answer :-

Dividing by long divison method we get,

x + 1 ) x³ +3x² + 3x + 1 (x² + 2x + 1

x³ + x²

2x² + 3x

2x² + 2x

x + 1

x + 1

0

therefore, we get,

→ Quotient = (x² + 2x + 1)

→ Remainder = 0
