Find the remainder when x³ + 3x² + 3x + 1 is divided by x - 1.

Answer :

g(x) = x - 1

➞ x - 1 = 0

➞ x = 0 + 1

p(x) = x³ + 3x² + 3x + 1

Putting the value of x

➞ (1)³ + (1)² + 3(1) + 1

➞ 1 + 1 + 3 + 1

➞ 2 + 4

➞ 6

.°. The remainder is 6...
