find the remainder if x^3+5x-6x^2+1 is divided by (X+2)​

Answer:

 p(x) = {x}^{3}  + 5x - 6 {x}^{2}  + 1

 p(x) = {x}^{3}  - 6 {x}^{2}  + 5x + 1

Dividing the p(x) by (x+2),

 =  \frac{ {x}^{3}  - 6 {x}^{2} + 5x + 1  }{x + 2}

remainder =  - 41

quotient =  {x}^{2}  - 8x + 21
