Answer:

p(x) = x^{3} + 2 {x}^{2} - 5x + 6 \\ g(x) = x + 1

by using remainder theorem

x + 1 = 0 \\ x = - 1

p( - 1) = {( - 1)}^{3} + 2 {( - 1)}^{2} - 5( - 1) + 6 \\ p( - 1) = ( - 1) + 2 + 5 + 6 \\ p( - 1) = 12

The remainder is 12 if divided by x+1
