hiii!!!

here's ur answer...

the easy way to find the remainder is by remainder theorem.

given p(y) = 4y³ - 12y² + 5y - 4

g(y) = 2y - 1 = 0

2y = 1

y = 1/2

on putting values :-

p (1/2) = 4(1/2)³ - 12(1/2)² + 5(1/2) - 4

= 4(1/8) - 12(1/4) + 5/2 - 4

= 1/2 - 3 + 5/2 - 4

= 6/2 - 7

= 6/2 - 14/2

= -8/2

= -4

-4 is the remainder of the given equation.

hope this helps..!!

p(x) =  {4y}^{3}  -  {12y}^{2}  + 5y - 4 \\ g(x) = 2y - 1 \\ if \: f(x) \div g(x)  \\ we \: get \:   \\ remainder =  - 4

remainder is -4
