HEYA THERE'S YOUR REQUIRED STEPS FOR THE ANSWER:-

Let (x+2)=0

Therefore x=-2

Using X=-2 in p(x) we get:-

p(-2)=4(-2)^3 -3(-2)^2+2(-2)+4=0

=-32-12-4-4

=-44-8

=-52 is the remainder
