Find the remainder when 2 x cube + 3 x square - 5 x + 7 is divided by 2 x minus 1

x=1/2

P(1/2)=2×[1/2]cube +3×[1/2]square -5×1/2 +7

P(1/2)=2/8 +3/4 -5/2 +7

=1/4 +3/4 -5/2+7

=4/4 -5/2+7

=-5/2+7

=-5+14/2

2x=1

x=1/2=0.5

p(1/2)=2(1/2)cube+3(1/2)square-5(1/2)+7

=2(1/8)+3(1/4)-5(1/2)+7

= 2/8+3/4-5/2+7

= 1/4+3/4-10/4+28/4

= 1+3-10+28/4

=32-10/4

=22/4

=11/2

=5.5
