Hey there!

2x - 3

Let us take this equation is equivalent to zero

2x - 3 = 0

2x = 3

x = 3 ÷ 2

Now, substitute the value of x and the number left at last is the remainder, this is called the remainder theorem

2x² - 3x + 5

2 ( 3 ÷ 2 )² - 3 ( 3 ÷ 2 ) + 5

2 ( 9 ÷ 4 ) - ( 9 ÷ 2 ) + 5

( 9 ÷ 2 ) - ( 9 ÷ 2 ) + 5

LCM = 2

( 9 - 9 + 10 ) ÷ 2

10 ÷ 2

= 5

The remainder is 5

Hope my answer helps!
