Find the remainder when 2x^2-3x+5 is divided by 2x-3. Does it exactly divide the

g(x) = 2x-3

using remainder theorem,

2x-3 = 0

2x = 3

x = 3/2

p(3/2) = 2(3/2)²-3(3/2)+5

= 2(9/4)-9/2+5

= 9/2-9/2+5

= 5

If it exactly divides, then p(3/2) will be 0.

So it doesn't exactly divide the polynomial .

5 is the remainder see for p(3/2).
