3x cubes - 4x cubes = -1x cubes

-1x cubes + 7x cubes = 8x cubes

8x cubes - 5x cubes = 3x cubes

3x divided by 1x cubes is 3x cubes.

Hope you understand! ;D

if (x-1) was the factor of (3x^3-4x^2+7x-5) it would have satisfy the equation bt becoz it's not a factor so it will not satisfy the equation and putting x=1 we can find the remainder-
= 3×(1)^3 - 4×(1)^2 + 7×(1) - 5
= 3 - 4 +7 - 5
=1 ans
