Hey Pretty Stranger!

• p(x) = 4x³ - 3x² + 2x - 4

• g(x) = x + 2

When g(x) = 0

→ x + 2 = 0

→ x = 0 - 2

x = -2

Put the value of x = -2 in p(x)

→ p(-2) = 4(-2)³ - 3(-2)² + 2(-2) - 4

→ p(-2) = 4(-8) - 3(4) - 4 - 4

→ p(-2) = -32 - 12 - 8

→ p(-2) = - 44 - 8

→ p(-2) = -52

\therefore Remainder obtained is -52
