To find the remainder we should only put the value of x from 2nd equation in first one

x - 1 = 0 \\ x = 1 \\ put \: \: x \: = 1 \: \: in \: \: 2nd \\ 6x {}^{3} - 5x {}^{2} + 2x - 9 \\ 6(1) {}^{3} - 5(1) {}^{2} + 2(1) - 9 \\ 6 - 5 + 2 - 9 \\ 8 - 14 \\ = > - 6
