remainder = -80

use remainder theorem : if f(x) is a polynomial divided by the other polynomial x + a then remainder will be f(-a).

here f(x) = 7x³ - 3x² + 5x - 2

(x + a) = x + 2

so, remainder = f(-a) = f(-2)

= 7(-2)³ - 3(-2)² + 5(-2) - 2

= 7(-8) - 12 - 10 - 2

= -56 - 24

= - 80
