Find the remainder when f(x)=x^4+2x^3-x^2+x-1 is divided by (1-2x)

f(x) is divided by (1-2x),

x=1/2,

f(x)=x^4+2x^3-x^2+x-1,

substituting  value of  x in f(x)

(1/2)^4+2*(1/2)^3-(1/2)^2+1/2-1,

1/16+2*1/8-1/4+1/2-1,

1/16+1/4-1/4+1/2-1,

1/16+1/2-1,

taking LCM,

(1+8-16)/16,

(9-16)/16,

-7/16 = Answer
