so by Remainder theorem----

the solution (zero)of 3x-1 is (1/3)

putting the value of 1/3 in f(x).

f(1/3)= (1/3)×3 -6×(1/3)×2 +2(1/3) -4

= -6.333

= -6.33

so by remainder theorem remainder so obtained is -6.33
