Answer:

Hi ,

By Remainder theorem :

If p(x) is divided by ( ax - b ) then the remainder

is p ( b/a ) .

it is easy to find the zero of p( x ) . which is

given below ,

ax - b = 0

ax = b

x = - b/a

i.e remainder is p( -b/a )
