Answer:

g(x)= x-1=0

x=1

p(x)=4x³+5x²-3x+6

p(1)=4(1)³+5(1)²-3(1)+6

p(1)=4+5-3+6

p(1)=10+2

p(1)=12

remainder is 12

Given :-

p(x) = 4x³ + 5x² - 3x + 6

g(x) = x - 1

To Find :-

Remainder

Solution :-

x - 1 = 0

x = 0 + 1

x = 1

Putting x as 1

p(1) = 4(1)³ + 5(1)² - 3(1) + 6

p(1) = 4(1) + 5(1) - 3 + 6

p(1) = 4 + 5 - 3 + 6

p(1) = 15 - 3

p(1) = 12

Hence,

Remainder is 12
