Find the remainder when p(x) = x^3 -6x² + 2x - 4 is divided by q(x) = x -1.​

p(x) = x³-6x²+2x-4

q(x) = x-1

Then X = 1

Put x = 1 in p(x)

=> (1)³-6(1)²+2(1)-4

1-6+2-4

3-10

= -7

The required remainder is -7.
